Project Overview

Cresco Australia was recently engaged by Sancon Civil to provide engineering and project consultancy services for a series of intersection upgrades near Jindera NSW.

The project aimed to enhance traffic flow and safety by widening four intersections, upgrading associated drainage systems, and conducting re-sealing works on connecting roads.

Intersection Widening: Improve traffic movement and safety at four key intersections.

Scope of Work

Cresco Australia’s role encompassed a broad range of responsibilities, including:

 

Project Management and Coordination:

Facilitating communication between the principal and various stakeholders, including local government, asphalting, line-marking, and surveying contractors.

Ensuring seamless integration of all project components to avoid delays and conflicts.

 

Quality Assurance:

Conducting rigorous quality assurance (QA) checks on gravel and asphalt quality.

Ensuring placement conformance and accuracy of line-marking.

Verifying the proper installation of drainage structures.

 

Reporting and Documentation:

Providing detailed weekly progress reports to stakeholders,

Managing the project budget and ensuring financial accountability.

Delivering quality reports to confirm compliance with project specifications.

Ensuring all documentation and reporting were signed off and delivered to relevant stakeholders.
